  1. I have dreamt about doing something like this. I think its great! What do you do for money? Im imaging that you guys get paid to be on tv. Would this work if you werent getting the money from endorsements? Id like the idea that it would be feasible for families not getting money from other sources. Sorry if Im getting personal. I just really would like to know how it can work. Will you do this for a year or longer? Will you buy a house and get a job after this is over or is this for life? I have so many questions. I plan on watching your show but if you can clue me in to these answers I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

    • Dan has a job that he can work from the road (he’s a software engineer). No money comes in from TV … no endorsement, nothing. I think, as I’ve told others, that if we can make this work with 12 kids, ANYONE can do it. You have to be willing to make sacrifices, but if it’s truly what you want, those sacrifices won’t feel as such! They will be liberating!! 🙂 I’m not sure for how long we will be doing this. My answer is simply, for as long as it’s fun. When it’s not fun or when someone wakes up and they are no longer loving this life, we’ll move on to something different … what or when that will be, who knows!!

  2. Moab is one of our favorite places too-although it is just hubby and I traveling now and then. I do come from a family of 12 children (I’m the 3rd oldest) so I get a feeling of what you all are doing and admire it greatly!!
